Captain's Log, Entry: May 31, 2022

I’ve added Captain’s Log entries to the sitemap so the search can now render results from the logs themselves. This also has the effect of having log entries show up in the RSS feed.

I’m working on publishing an awesome podcast I recorded with Thomas Peterson, who maintains a blog with lots of in-depth Hack The Box writeups (among other things)!
I have an upcoming podcast with the CEO of CryptoStopper.

Progress through AWAE has been… slow (to say the least). An extension will be necessary to complete the course.

I picked up the Hue Iris table lamp as my older Hue Bloom decided to quit. It looks really cool!

Boston has indeed made it to the finals (as I predicted)! Can they beat this beast of a Warriors team though? I’m starting to think not. Overall, these playoffs have been pretty strange with a lot of blowouts. I hope that the finals are interesting at least, regardless of who wins.
I’ve finished season 1 of the Halo TV show. The finale was pretty epic and I can’t wait for season 2!
I finished Moon Knight and even though overall I really enjoyed it, I thought the finale ended the show in a very abrupt way. Maybe I just wish there was more of it…
Prehistoric Planet on Apple TV+ looks really cool and I’m excited to watch it.
The Obi-Wan Kenobi show on Disney+ has begun as well and of course I’m enjoying it so far. It takes place 7(ish) years after the rise of the Empire and Darth Vader.
Later this year, the Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power show and the new Game of Thrones prequel, House of the Dragon will be debuting. Pumped!
