Captain's Log, Entry: March 27, 2022

I’ve set aside some real estate for a “Pro” section of the site. What this will be used for I’m not quite sure. But it does sport a cool new simplified Shellsharks logo.

According to Google Search Impact, my site received 350 clicks from Google Search in a 28 day span. Doesn’t seem like a lot but I suppose it’s a record for me!

Getting a little more hands-on in AWS. The Security Pillar of the AWS Well-Architected Framework is a good place to start.

The Mac Studio and Studio Display (among a few other things) were both announced at the March 2022 Apple event. As impressive as the benchmarks are looking, I don’t plan on picking one up. I really want to see what the new Mac Pro will look like. At which point, I will decide between picking a new M1-Mac Pro up or going and picking up a used 2019 Intel-based Mac Pro.

The new Lord of the Rings TV show on Amazon Prime, “The Rings of Power” looks awesome! Can’t wait for it to come out.
I watched the Oscar-nominated movie “The Power of the Dog” and for the life of me can’t figure out how it was nominated for best picture…
Watched Rurouni Kenshin and the sequel on Netflix. Wasn’t familiar with the anime but the movie was awesome.
Our Flag Means Death on HBO Max was funny.
Re-watched the Transporter series. Both the original and 2 are so good…
I got a sub to Paramount+ specifically to watch the new live-action Halo series. Haven’t started it yet though.
