Shellsharks Community
- I (still) have an extra GIAC GSOC practice exam voucher to giveaway. I tried to post a giveaway on r/netsecstudents but it was removed by the mods for some reason. Will need to try again sometime soon before it expires.
The Shellsharks Podcast
- The newest episode of The Shellsharks Podcast just went live. It is a (relatively) in-depth discussion on the new OWASP Top 10 for 2021.
What I’m Learning
I’ve passed the GSOC exam!
Still trying to make time for eWAPT…
Still planning on starting the Advanced Web Attacks and Exploitation (AWAE/OSWE) course from OffSec in October sometime.
Gadgets
Apple’s Fall iPhone/general hardware event happened and my first impressions (and the general impressions of the tech media from what I could tell) was that this event was on the boring side. With that said, I did purchase the new iPhone 13 Pro Max and am considering the Watch Series 7.
I’ve signed up for the iPhone Upgrade Program. Basically I just want the easiest way to upgrade to the new iPhone each year. This is the way.
TV
- A bunch of interesting movies and TV shows are on my radar (Foundation, Dune 2021, Star Wars Visions).
Life
- It finally happened! I am now a member of the Hoarders Society.
